Stefan Nordahl has been at the core of Hasopor’s operations since the company was founded in 2007. As the person responsible for sales and marketing, he has been at the forefront of building foam glass awareness in the Swedish market and has witnessed how the circular economy has grown from a marginal idea into a mainstream approach.
Interest sparked by recycling
Stefan’s path to Hasopor began with a desire to promote more sustainable solutions. “The idea that packaging glass can be turned into a lightweight and environmentally friendly construction material was truly fascinating,” he says.
Over the years he has met countless construction professionals, and every encounter has brought new insights: “In this job you learn constantly. Every day brings something new.”
According to Stefan, the market has changed significantly. Customer awareness of environmental impacts, EPD documentation and low‑emission solutions has increased rapidly.
Team spirit that carries
Stefan describes Hasopor’s team spirit as warm and practical: “We help and support each other every day.”
He finds the work varied and meaningful: “It is great to contribute to building Swedish infrastructure.”
A wish for a greener tomorrow
In his sales and marketing role Stefan frequently visits construction sites. Safety is therefore an important part of daily work: “It is essential that deliveries take place safely and that visitors follow the site rules.”
His wish for the future is clear: “I hope the transition to greener construction will move even faster.”
